Step-by-Step Overview

  • Unique Code Assignment: Each product receives a barcode that contains a unique identification number. Initially, these barcodes do not carry product data but serve as digital placeholders.
  • Storage Capacity: Every barcode has a capacity of approximately 2–3 MB, allowing it to store essential product information securely.
  • Receiving Barcodes: Once you receive the barcodes, you must follow the registration and activation process detailed below.

Product Tagging & Data Registration

  • Barcode Application: Print the barcodes and apply them to your products.
  • Retailer Submission: Submit your product and barcode details to the retailer where you wish to list your products—such as Reliance Retail, D-Mart, More, Big Bazaar, Walmart, or other major supermarkets.
  • For Reliance Retail: If listing with Reliance Retail, visit their head office once to submit your product details. They will store this information in their central inventory system for lifetime access.

Centralized Inventory Integration

  • Data Distribution to Branches: Once registered, your product data will be automatically shared with all branches of the respective retail chain across India.
  • Seamless Scanning at Purchase: When a customer buys your product from any store branch, the barcode is scanned and verified against the centralized server. This ensures authenticity and real-time data access.
  • Universal Retailer Process: This one-time process applies to other retail chains as well, such as D-Mart, More, Big Bazaar, Walmart, and similar stores that use inventory billing systems.
  • Single Registration Required: You only need to follow this process once per retailer. After that, your product remains registered in their system.

Ongoing Product Data Updates

  • Product Info Management: Any updates (e.g., quantity, MRP, etc.) can be made within the same retailer system where your product is registered. All changes will reflect in their centralized inventory automatically.
